If you wrote down everything that you did in one day - do you think you would feel better or worse about yourself? Did I get too much done today? ha. Who says stuff like that?
So here goes.
Shut off the alarm. Rolled over. Got a few more winks. Got up. Prayed. Pottied - but that's the last time I am mentioning that. Showered. Shaved legs. Other shower stuff. Dried off. Got dressed. Blow dried hair. Brushed teeth. Moisturized. Thought about make-up, skipped it. Woke the boys up. Made chocolate milk for me and H. Ate oatmeal cookie. Loaded and started the dishwasher and wonder why I didn't do this last night. Started a load of laundry. Reminded the boys they had co-op today so they needed to eat breakfast, comb hair, brush teeth all before 9am. Changed Hew's diaper, probably the last time I will mention that too. Got Hew dressed. Threw away the diaper. Reminded kids three or more times about breakfast, hair and teeth. Found matching socks for Hew. Put shoes on Hew and myself, told boys they needed shoes. Answered the phone. Piled everyone in van, buckled in Hew. Back out. Remembered we didn't pray as a family yet. Car prayer combined with family prayer. Drove to co-op. Dropped off kids. Drove to West Ave. to the nearest (that I know of) Dollar Store. Shopped. Purchased. Drove to JoAnn's. (fabric shopping without kids!) Bought fabric. Not the fabric I went to buy. Drove home. Put up/out a few Christmas decorations. Checked email - return several. Started writing Christmas cards to my RS sisters, 30 done. Switched laundry. Answer phone. Check facebook. Time to pick up kids - drive to co-op. Gather kids. Thankful they are fed. Come home. Switch laundry. Fold. Put away. Remind kids they need to read. Start on Christmas cards again. Read Auntie Claus aloud. Snuggle Hew because he is tired. Listen to Liam read two chapters. Explain consequences again to Noble about not reading when he had the time instead of waiting until his report was due. Encourage him to keep reading. answered the phone. Make a mock quilted ornament and decide whether we can handle this as a group activity for a play-date/group. Bake more Oatmeal Craisen Almond Chocolate Chip cookies. Prepare dinner - Creamy Enchiladas. Help kids finish jobs. Switch laundry. Fold. Put away. Cover Hewy up because he fell asleep on the couch again. Blog. Check emails - return several. Download books from Audible. Check facebook. Answer phone. Drop off dry cleaning. Pick up mail. Work on Christmas cards again - up to 60 done. Remembered dinner was in the oven - a little brown, but that's okay. Pick up the family room. Fold laundry, put away last load of the day. Plug in outside decorations. Turn on Christmas tree. Answer phone. Check emails again. Serve dinner. Pray. Clean kitchen. Load dishwasher so I don't have to tomorrow. Go pick up Dell and Anna's car. Finish Christmas cards, 118 total. Kiss my sweetheart. Hug my kids. Family prayer. Veg in front of the TV... the Mentalist is on.
so far that's it.
Not too bad for 7pm.
